Andrei Boitsov

Andrei Aleksandrovich Boitsov was born in Leningrad in the USSR. In 1988, he got a degree in engineering and cybernetics from Leningrad Technological Institute. Following graduation he got involved in applied research that focused on the scientific and technological development of the Russian North-West. In 1992, he joined the Union of Scientists of Leningrad. In 1994 – 1996, he ran a team charged with the development of fullerene production. In 1997, while continuing his project management career he began providing consulting services to company CEOs in developing, producing and marketing their products on В2В and В2С markets.

In 2006, Andrei Boitsov was awarded a St Petersburg Governor Best Manager Prize.

His research interests include social system modeling, government and business relations, and identifying business environment trends in the Russian North-West region.

Andrei Boitsov has extensive expertise in studying the phenomenon of business success and is the coauthor of the business administration tool, Nine Keys to Business.

We must admit that the economic model based on developing transnational markets has exhausted its potential. Macroeconomic postulates do not reflect the nature and dynamics of economic development. Commodity-money exchange effectiveness is declining. The multiplication coefficient has all but ceased to work. The funding developed countries dispense to poor countries to balance the global economic situation vanish in developing economies without providing any visible economic effect or resolving such problems as hunger, poverty, a lack of drinking water, pandemics etc. Therefore, the gap between the level of development of Golden Billion nations and that of the Third World is not finding closure.
