Konstantin Barezhev

Director for Research of the Planetary Development Institute

Konstantin Barezhev is the co-author of the Planetary Project, and Deputy Director for Research of the Planetary Development Institute. Dr Barezhev was born in 1973 in Leningrad (USSR), now St Petersburg (Russia). In 1996, he graduated from St Petersburg State University with a Cum Laude Degree in philosophy. He worked for organisations engaged in developing parliamentarism, democracy and civil society. In 2000, he received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Department of Ontology and Theory of Cognition of St Petersburg State University. His thesis focused on the evolution of the concept of meaning in European metaphysics, criticism and phenomenology. Between 1995 and 2003, he co-operated with the European Union TACIS Programme in the area of youth and social policy. From 2000 to 2012, he taught humanities courses, carried out research, ran various university departments, and edited university press publications. Since 2006, Dr Barezhev has been involved in consulting work in social and business communication and business administration. He is the author of two research monographs (“Meaning as Interpreting Essence”, 2009; and “Elements of Philosophy”, 2012), two textbooks (“Introduction to Corporate Culture”, 2011; and “Advertising in Communication”, 2011), and over 70 papers in scholarly journals and trade magazines. His research interests are wide ranging. They include: the history of philosophy and science, cultural studies, psychology, political science, management, sociology and globalism.

Aleksandr Bezgodov

General Director of the Planetary Development Institute

Bezgodov was born in 1960 in Vologda Region (USSR, Russia). He holds his first degree from the Friedrich Engels Leningrad Institute of Soviet Commerce, now the St Petersburg State University of Trade and Economics. He held high administrative positions in retail and procurement in Archangelsk Region, Russia and between 1989 and 1993 in Germany. In 1999, he received a Ph.D. in Political Science from St Petersburg State University. His thesis focused on entrepreneurship in modern Russia. He worked for organisations engaged in developing parliamentarism, democracy and civil society. In 2005, he received the degree of Doctor of Economics from St Petersburg State University. His post-doc thesis was related to the market mechanisms of implementing the Concept of Sustainable Development. He co-operated actively with Prof. Mikhail Zalikhanov, who is a Full Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Prof. Bezgodov established the non-profit research organization The Planetary Project, which is an associate member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Since its inception, the Planetary Project research centre has published five collective monographs on global economic, environmental and social processes. In 2006, Prof. Bezgodov was made a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Research and Development company BIURS, which is engaged in developing and implementing innovation solutions in the petrochemical industry. He is the author of over fifty scholarly publications. His research interests include: macroeconomics, the Concept of Sustainable Development, sociology and globalism. His monograph “Planetary Project: From Sustainable Development to Managed Harmony” sets out a scholarly approach to solving current global problems involving global human unification with the intention to save our planet for present and future generations. The Planetary Project Concept proposes a harmonious global development model based on integrated economic and rent revenues from the use of resources held in planetary ownership.

Abhishek Singh

Executive Director of the Planetary Development Institute

Abhishek Singh was born in India on 9th June 1973 did his secondary education in India ( finished with merit) He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with honors in 1995 and Masters of Engineering (Industrial and municipal power supply) in 1996 from Moscow Chemical Technology University (named after D.I.Mendeleev) in Russia . In 1999 he finished his Executive MBA from International Management Institute (EMBA program conducted by SDA Bacconi,(Italy) , Lyon College (France) & Henley Management College (UK) . Mr Singh has a rich working experience (from 1996 till date) in Russia, UK, France ,USA, UAE and the Scandinavian countries (Sweden and Norway) . He was instrumental in brining various energy products and solution from western Europe to Russia (from 2000-2005) . He exported many technical solutions from Russia to Middle East market (2007-2013) . Similarly he was involved in detailed engineering design in UK and bringing those solutions to other markets.(2007-2010) His experience with the Scandianivan market has allowed him to work on various environmental solutions (2002-2004) which are in great demand in Asia. Of late , Mr Singh has been involved in developing the markets of India and China for the implementation of innovative technologies from Russia in the field of energy and environment Markets of GCC countries has been his forte for the sales and marketing of industrial equipments and technologies. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been a market of great interest and Mr Singh has been able to make contacts and generate business with leading Government and private players in various regions of Saudi Arabia.(2011 till date) His association with Dr Aleksandr Bezgodov from 2007 has given him detailed insight into the Planetary projects and has brought him into the team as a core member for business development and other activities for the Planetary Development Institute (Dubai)

Vadim Golubev

Head of the Information Monitoring Department of the Planetary Development Institute

Golubev was born in 1970 in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. He received a degree in Germanic Languages from St Petersburg State University, Russia. His qualifications included interpreting and translating between Russian, English and French as well as teaching English and French. During his undergraduate course, he did a three-month simultaneous interpreting internship at the Department of Russian, Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, UK. He received a Ph.D. Degree in Philology from St Petersburg State University in 1996. His thesis focused on argumentation in the American print media. Dr Golubev spent the academic year of 1997-98 at the University of Iowa, USA as a Junior Faculty Development Program fellow doing his post-doc research in media argumentation, rhetoric and communication. From 1998 to 2002, he combined several positions at St Petersburg State University: Associate Professor of the Department of English Philology and Translation; Director of St Petersburg Fedorov Centre for Translation Studies; and Director of Canadian Studies Centre. He worked on secondment at Heriot-Watt University and the University of Edinburgh, UK from 2002 to 2005. He has been running the Department of English for the Faculty of Journalism, St Petersburg State University since 2006. Between 2008 and 2011 he added the position of the Head of the International Office of the Faculty of Journalism to his main job while in the academic year of 2012-2013 he also worked as Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Baltic Academy of Tourism and Entrepreneurship, a private higher education institution of St Petersburg. Dr Golubev is the author of over forty papers in Russian and international journals. His research interests include argumentation in the media, the role of media in public diplomacy and propaganda and translation studies. Dr Golubev has translated two argumentation textbooks from English into Russian.

Peter Pei

Peter Pei was born in China on 24th May, 1982. In 2005, he graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a degree in law and then started his career as a marketing professional in Midea Group, which is the second largest home appliance company in China between 2005-2007. In 2007, he decided to switch his career to work as a translator and project manager in one of the largest translation agencies in Shanghai, China. Since then, he served many big names such as Volkswagen, GM, TRW and KPMG. At the end of 2009, he started up his own company named Splendid Communication, which helps many multinationals to manage their localization need. He also co-founded Splendid China with a Dutch businesswoman to help European Companies sell their products to China. From 2012, he started to work for A.T. Kearney as a contracted translator and personal assistance to the Managing Partner of A.T. Kearney China. Peter Pei has broad interest in philosophy, sociology, psychology and many other subjects of humanities. Many years’ working experience in marketing and translation helps shape his business sense and communication skills, as well as leadership skills. He has strong savvy of how business world work and owns praiseworthy work ethics. He believes his life purpose is to serve the whole humanities.

Peter Ellis

Peter was born in 1949 in Bristol, England; and graduated in civil engineering with economics from Dundee University, Scotland. He is a senior project management consultant with 37 years of experience in the construction industry. Over this period he managed the design and construction of many landmark projects including the Philip Morris plant in Russia, the Scottish Exhibition Centre, and the Glasgow Concert Hall. In Beirut he led a team producing a Logistics Plan for the $8 billion, 25 year project to rebuild the centre of the city. Peter has extensive experience of project, design and construction management. He has knowledge of all aspects of the building process from civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering to architectural finishes. Since 2009 Peter has taught English in the School of Journalism at St Petersburg State University. His students range from first year to post graduates.

Rejoice Siziwe Twala

Rejoice Siziwe Twala is a Quality Manager for Umuzi Wesimanga and the director of Siziwe Consultancy t/a Pink Diamond and Pure Diamonds Skills Academy. She is a corporate Business Counselor with Seda and Image consultant trained by Colourworks International. In 2016 she has attended an EMPRETEC international training with Seda. She is an ETDP-SETA assessor: ATW42845.

She comes from the teaching background and had been a business consultant from 2002 and is currently pursuing her Project Management studies with the University of Southern Queensland (Australia). She acquired certificates in Business Plan Writing and SMME Management from Unisa (University Of South Africa). She is a specialist in the field of business plan development, corporate training, business counseling, mentoring and image consulting. She is a network facilitator and service provider for SEDA and the DTI. She had been nominated as one of the DTI’s success stories in 2004.

As a trainer of trainers expect, in March 2012, she facilitated for the Department of Finance on Customer Service for the administration staff provincially. In 2011 she facilitated an Export Orientation Course in training of trainers programme for seda Business Advisors (employees) from all the nine provinces. She furthermore facilitated an energy-seta related learnership programme for Silulumanzi from October 2009 to March 2010 through LEDON. Between April and June 2010 she facilitated for the FIFA 2010 World Cup –Host City where she focused on Media Volunteers as well as Transport Volunteers.

She had facilitated for the Office of the Premier for the training of trainers on Managing Quality Services for the government’s different departments targeting senior and middle managers in 2008. Andrei Boitsov

Andrei Aleksandrovich Boitsov was born in Leningrad in the USSR. In 1988, he got a degree in engineering and cybernetics from Leningrad Technological Institute. Following graduation he got involved in applied research that focused on the scientific and technological development of the Russian North-West. In 1992, he joined the Union of Scientists of Leningrad. In 1994 – 1996, he ran a team charged with the development of fullerene production. In 1997, while continuing his project management career he began providing consulting services to company CEOs in developing, producing and marketing their products on В2В and В2С markets.

In 2006, Andrei Boitsov was awarded a St Petersburg Governor Best Manager Prize.

His research interests include social system modeling, government and business relations, and identifying business environment trends in the Russian North-West region.

Andrei Boitsov has extensive expertise in studying the phenomenon of business success and is the coauthor of the business administration tool, Nine Keys to Business.

Grigory Tulchinsky

Grigory Lvovich Tulchinsky was born on 3 August 1947 in Leningrad (now St Petersburg). Majoring in logic, he received his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Leningrad State University. His PhD dissertation was titled “Logical-philosophical Analysis of the Semantics of Formalized Languages, while his senior doctoral thesis was called “The Legal and Value Nature of Knowing about Reality”.

Professor of the Higher School of Economics in St Petersburg, Grigory Tulchinsky is an Associate Member of the International Academy of Sciences and Higher Education and a Full Member of the Russian Academy of the Humanities. He holds the title of Honored Scientist of Russia awarded by the country’s president and often chairs academic councils that award PhD and postdoctoral degrees in philosophy and cultural studies.

Prof. Tulchinsky is an expert, lecturer, and publicist specializing in personal and cultural philosophy, the logic and methodology of science, social management and communications, and the Russian and Soviet spiritual experience. He is the author of over 380 publications including 27 books.

Lyudmila Nikolaevna Danilenko is a PhD in economics, a reader in South Federal University branch in Novoshakhtinsk (Russian Federation). She is the author of two monographs («The Rental and Raw Material Pattern of Russian Economics and the Problems of its Neoindustrial Transformation», 2014 and «The Socio-humanitarian Context and The Modernization Processes` Factors and the Creation of New Economics in Russia», 2013), two tutorials ( «Economics: a Lecture Course in Micro- and Macroeconomics», 2013 and «The World Economics», 2010) and more than 30 articles in different scientific publications under review.

Research interests: economic sociology, social psychology, developmental psychology.

Vladimir Barinov


Vladimir Borisovich Barinov got his higher education at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Tadzhik State University (TSU) and completed the post graduate course there.

He has thirty years of experience in the sphere of foreign economic activity, trading and telecommunications, and 23 of them he had executive positions. He is specializing in creating commercial services from the point zero, forming straight-through business processes from sales to production.

At the moment he is a vice director of regional work in Social Systems Strategic Management Institute in SUAI (State University of Aerospace Instrumentation) in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He is also consulting in strategic development of economic activity objects, forecasting the economic development and starting the projects that are currently on the agenda of Russian economics.

Sergey Pozdnyakov


Sergey Anatolyevich Pozdnykov was born in 1958. He graduated from Petrozavodsk State University in Russia. He is a PhD in Biology (zoologist and ecologist). He has worked in protection of Russian environment for more that 30 years. He is an associated member of the Centre of Russian Environmental Policy. He is the author of more than 50 scientific papers. Research interests : mammals population ecology, human environmental impact evaluation, natural resources management, survival principals and the Homo Sapiens development.

Alexander Chamur

Alexander Chamur was born in 1988. He graduated from the Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts. He trained in Serbia on communication theory issues. Information technology specialist and translator. He received additional education in Saint-Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics. Worked as a chief of information support in Khroulyov Military Academy of Logistics.

He has participated in the creation of the media center in Khroulyov Military Academy. Subsequently worked on the creation of commercials for major brands of sports nutrition and concert promoters. At the moment he works in Closed Joint Stock Company Scientific-Production Enterprise «ANA tactical» as a content manager. Alexander Chamur was awarded with many certificates, including certificate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. He is the author of more than 15 scientific papers.

Aleksandr Danilov


Aleksandr Dmitriyech Danilov is a Doctor of Science, Philosophy in biomedical sciences, the professor of International University of Fundamental Studies, the Director of Science and Education in MPI «Markelov`s Clinic» in Petrozavodsk. An ex-vice-president of «The Clean Baltic» international environmental safety fund (2011-2013).

Education: The Northeastern Polytechnical Institute (EPI), Leningrad, USSR, 1975; The Polytechnical Institute, Leningrad, USSR, 1985.

He is a developer of the aquaparadigm of life, medical and consumer devices and the diagnosis and rehabilitation technologies based on aquasystem gymnastics of a human body. He is a chronobiologist and an expert in a course of a cancer, drug addiction and other system malfunctions, one of the main reasons of what, according to different research and clinical trials, is the degradation and rigidity of regimes and forms of aquasystem movement in nature and living organisms.

He is the co-author of two multi-author monographs of Smolny Institute, three manuals for medical devices and technologies, the author of more than 40 academic papers and publications on scientific congresses on the course of cancer risk and aquasystems.

He is the author and patent holder of Patent of Russian Federation № 2128004, 1997, «The Electrophysiological Signs Analysis Method and the Device for its Realization», Patent of Russian Federation № 2569246, 2014 , «The Method of Determining The Influence of a Diagnostic Ultrasound on a Human Body».

He is the holder of the «Yury Gagarin Gold Medal», the Russia Cosmonautic Federation reward, for the development and application of medical devices and technologies for the analysis of a course of actual system diseases on asymptomatic stages (cancer, drug addiction, intensification of a viral activity and the vegetative stress), 2006.

He is the holder of International Parliament of Safety and Peace (Palermo, Italy) and the Oxford Educational Chain reward – the First Place Diploma with the Diplomant of Honour of International contest «The Human Health» conferment (UNESCO – UNICEF), 2012 for the creation of a unique scientific development «The noninvasive express diagnosis and monitoring of oncological and narcological risks with the help of a heart rhythmograms».

Sergey Tishkov


Sergey Tishkov was born in 1985 in Kostomuksha (Republic of Karelia, Russia). In 2007 he graduated from the economic faculty of Petrozavodsk state University. In 2011, he received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Institute for regional economy problems Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg). His thesis focused on the formation of regional innovation system in the Northern border region. 2007-present scientific associate at the Institute of Economics of Karelian research centre of RAS within the framework of the research topics and projects: "Development of methods and models of forecasting of socio-ecological-economic development of regions taking into account the influence of innovation processes", "Development tools for studies of external influence on the development of regional socio-ecological-economic systems", "Modeling and forecasting of regional innovation and socio-ecological-economic processes", "Study of the factors determine the energy efficiency on the Russian economy". He is the co-author of two research monographs ("Innovation processes in the Republic of Karelia: analysis, modeling and control", 2009, "Investigation of the efficiency of the Russian economy: modeling and analysis", 2016), author over 80 papers in scholarly journals and trade magazines, three articles in the Encyclopedia of the Republic of Karelia. In 2016 he was elected Chairman of the Council of young scientists and specialists of the Institute of Economics of the Karelian research center of RAS. His research interests are wide ranging. They include: strategic management, regional economy, management of social-economic systems, the basics of entrepreneurial activities, innovation development.
