Robert Burns (1759 – 1796) was a famous Scottish poet. Scotts are very proud of their bard and honour his memory. His birthday is celebrated in many parts of Britain beyond Scotland. Burns Supper has a specific scenario involving reading Burns’s poems, singing songs and dancing folk dances.
