New Look on Sustainable Development

Mr. Abhishek Singh, Executive Director of the Planetary Development Institute, was the Speaker of the Planetary project. In the report he covered history of formation and implementation of the Concept of Sustainable Development, analyzed the purposes of this strategy from 1992 to 2015 and opened the reasons of problems of their achievement. Special attention was paid to the internal contradictions of the Concept of Sustainable Development, the objective and subjective obstacles to its practical implementation. The Central thesis was about the need of critical transformation of the Concept of Sustainable Development in the light of the basic ideas of the Planetary project of the reglobalization, planetary economy and managed harmony.
